| Message of Thanks from KNT, Kintetsu's Japan Office |
|
Despite the recent devastating events in Japan, it appears their resilience and strong sense of community, combined with the foreign aid generously donated from many countries, have helped them recover quicker than expected. Although the challenges ahead remain vast, their strength and perseverance couldn't be more embodied than it is in the cherry blossom ("Sakura"), their national flower, which blooms every spring for two weeks. These natural disasters could not even stop the cherry blossoms from blooming, providing the nation with a symbol of hope. Below is letter of thanks from KNT, our parent office in Japan, for the expressions of condolences they have received from all over the world. Please enjoy the beautiful pictures of the cherry blossoms in Tokyo.
SAKURA LETTER~THANK YOU FOR YOU SUPPORT~
Cherry blossoms “Sakura”, which signal the arrival of spring, can be described as symbols of hope, resilience and a source of motivation for Japan’s recovery. Since many of you missed our wonderful season this year, we would like to share the full bloomed cherry blossoms! Our KNT staffs took photos of beautiful cherry blossoms in famous places in Tokyo. We thank you once again for the heartfelt messages and many supports from all over the world. We are encouraged so much even though very shocked that many people’s lives were lost in the Great Tohoku Kanto earthquake on March 11, 2011 and still missing many lives. We will be strong and stepping forward to rebuild our country. GlobalBusiness Management Branch
